We had a great time during our stay. The best aspects were the convenient location by the river, the clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast. The hotel facilities were also impressive.
Nothing negative to say.

Services and the style of the hotel and the common area
Lack of basic facilities eg pool, parking, breakfast needs a big improvement - microwaved eggs and very cheap susages are below standard

Excellent both artistic skills and service skills. As soon as we walked in to the hotel property we felt as if we had come to a different world. Many trees had either flowers or fruits that mostly eatable. We booked a garden view room at Sofa Gallery Hotel, but we upgraded for 500B. as we could not resist the beauty of the river view room that has the theme of the Naga (deep blue) with the outdoor shower and a terrace that you can over look to the Meakhong river. we enjoyed our breakfast that served in Isan Traditional Style in the garden near the koi ponds while watching the majestic river flow by just out back of the hotel. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel has choices of the breakfast you can choose. We parked our car just in front of the hotel and one of the staffs watched our car at night. The hotel is very quiet, clean, and safe. We will definitely come back.

The hotel provided a comfortable and clean room with a beautiful view of the river. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel was located in a convenient area with easy access to local transportation.
The bed was extremely hard and not comfortable for sleeping. Furthermore, there were a lot of mosquitoes in the area, which made it difficult to enjoy the outdoors. Despite these negatives, the overall experience was positive and we appreciated the efforts of the hotel staff.

The staffs were very kind to us. Beautiful decoration and design makes this place very outstanding. We love that Sofa Gallery Hotel has a lot of trees and flowers that make the area cool and comfortable. You can see the Friendship Bridge just by sitting in the back of the hotel. This place is very lovely, calm, and cozy. The Thai food that the Hotel served us for dinner was delicious (and of course, the breakfast was fantastic). It’s very close to both downtown and The Friendship Bridge. We had a very nice stay at Sofa Gallery Hotel before we headed to Vientiane, Laos. We will come back.

The service was excellent - all the staff were very helpful. This is a very romantic 5 bed hotel.
It was a bit further from the town centre than anticipated.

With only five rooms (we were the only guests) it is a little oasis of peace and beauty in a rather run down area. Set in a garden full of flowers and a fish pond, it offers fine views of the Mekong and the Lao coast beyond. The proprietor couldn't have been more helpful with meals and fresh cut flowers were noticable everywhere within the hotel building.
The hotel is clearly new and in some areas not yet finished. Our en suite bathroom was not fully tiled. The bedroom, while being clean and attractive did not offer the facilities expected in a hotel. The sofa, maybe there to justify the hotel name, could more usefully have been replaced by a table and chairs. The only place to store clothing was a few hangers in an alcove behind the bed, few drawers would have been useful. The absence of a television would put off many guests. We only stayed overnight to cross Friendship Bridge the following morning, so these inconveniences did not worry us. The location, while being close to the bridge, was in a back street accessible from the main highway after driving 1Km away from the bridge. Parking was in the street. I think it would be more appropriate to call this a guest house and reduce the price accordingly.

The room was clean and tidy, no complaints there. There was also a friendly staff member who tried to accommodate our needs as best as possible. the hotel was located near a good selection of restaurants and shops, making it easy to find places to eat and buy necessities.
The bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable to sleep on properly. It was also quite disappointing that there were a lot of mosquitos in the room, which made it difficult to relax.

Hello. I live in Roi-Et, Thailand and have visited Nong Khai with my partner and 2 children a number of times. This hotel is very different. This place is a bit special and for me worth the money. The service provided by Tiger and his assistant was excellent. Tiger was also happy to accomadate our request for a boat trip and an airline ticket. He even provided roast chicken and roast duck for our Xmas dinner. All in all and by Thai standards this hotel is very expensive. Again, having said that it is exclusive and there is nothing else like it that we know of. I suppose you get what you pay for and we came away happy and contented. My opinion of the design and layout is that it is very unusual and artistic The gardens are very beautiful, Many thanks for a great few days. If you are a mature couple with or without children this is the place to stay for a few days, Do not be put off by the distance from the centre of Nong Khai. It is only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride away to the Indo China Market and the many riverside resturants. If you are singles guys looking for the night life this may not be the place for you owing to location.
My children were not to happy to start with as the rooms do not have a TV. Having said that they survived 3 days without TV and without further complaint much to my suprise !!!!!!!!! My children also missed not having WiFi.

We really liked the staff. They were super friendly. Allways doing their best to help and serve us. Especially Mac. He really did enormous his best to give us a good service with a big smile.
The rooms are small. Especially the Naka room. There is hardly space for your luggage. The Budha room is a little bit bigger but the balcony is smaller. These 2 rooms have an outside bathroom, so you have to be carefull about the privacy. Also many ants over there. The mattresses are very very hard, as if you are laying on bricks
